Meet Carley

Carley is a licensed, National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) with a Master’s degree in Learning and Technology and over six years of experience teaching upper-elementary students. She brings a rare combination of deep instructional expertise, thoughtful use of technology, and a calm, supportive presence that enables students to feel confident in taking intellectual risks.

In the studio, Carley plays a critical role in supporting small-group learning, monitoring student thinking in real time, and ensuring every child feels seen, heard, and challenged. She has a gift for noticing patterns in student work, asking the right questions at the right time, and helping learners clarify their thinking without taking over for them.

Meet Andrew

Andrew is also a licensed, Master’s-level educator with nine years of classroom teaching experience in upper-elementary. He has been recognized by his colleagues as Teacher of the Year three separate times, an honor that reflects not only strong results, but deep respect for his instructional skill and leadership.

Andrew specializes in helping students develop real mathematical understanding, not just procedural fluency. His teaching focuses on sense-making, clear reasoning, and conceptual models that allow students to explain why methods work and apply their thinking flexibly to new problems.

In the studio, Andrew is known for his calm presence, precise questioning, and ability to quickly identify and address misconceptions.
